Masala Makhana

Makhanas are otherwise known as Foxnuts or Lotus seeds. They are high in nutrients and contain very little calories. This is an easy recipe for Roasted Masala Makhanas.

Cook Time: 10 minutes
Number of Servings: 2-3 persons

Ingredients

Butter – 1 Tbsp
Makhana – 50 gms
Chili powder – 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chaat Masala – 1 Tsp
Salt to taste

Method

1. Add some ghee in a pan and roast the makhanas
2. After they turn golden brown in color, add turmeric powder, chili powder, chat masala and salt and mix well
3. Roasted Masala Makhanas are ready
4. You can store this for up to 1 week in an airtight container
